Ariana Grande and James Corden navigated a Halloween-themed escape room during a remote segment from Tuesday’s Late Late Show. “I love being scared. I think it’s so much fun,” the pop singer gushed as they drove around the streets of Los Angeles, California. But when they entered a completely dark room filled with creepy sounds, she realized this particular location was more like a haunted house.
Grande asked Corden to hold her hand as they worked through the first space, with their movements captured through security-styled footage. They weaved from room to room, solving puzzles as costumed people – including a little girl hiding in a bottom bunk bed – jumped out to scare them. In the final scene, a crawling man grabbed for their feet as they scurried out the door – and in the commotion, Grande fell and injured her hand.
“That was traumatic,” she told Corden as they got back into the car, showing off her freshly bandaged appendage. “Honest to god, I’m not gonna lie – don’t I look kinda hard?”
