Earlier this month, Saturday Night Live brought back alumni from the show's 40 year history for a massive prime time special. We put together a ranking of all 141 cast members, and like any list, it drew some dissent, particularly from a certain mid-1990s Weekend Update host who does a pretty good David Letterman impression. We figured it was only fair that we threw this back to the masses, so we had our readers cast their votes. Here are the results.

20

Adam Sandler

Years on Show: 1990-1995

Most Memorable Sketches: "Opera Man," "The Gap Girls," "Iraqi Pete," "Canteen Boy and the Scoutmaster"

Post-Show Career: Shockingly enough, he was fired in 1995 along with many others members of the cast after a rather lackluster season. He bounced back later that year with Billy Madison, which kicked off a string of hit moves that continued for a very long time. His last few have been rather soft at the box office, but he recently signed a four-movie deal with Netflix.

19

Randy Quaid

Years on Show: 1985-1986

Most Memorable Sketches: None. You people just voted for him because he's mentally ill and back in the news for posting more sad, paranoid videos online. Shame on all of you.

Post-Show Career: He was a working character actor in everything from Not Another Teen Movie to Kingpin to Independence Day until he became convinced that he was the target of an anti-Hollywood conspiracy. He now lives on the road, hiding from perceived enemies. It's extremely sad.

Most Memorable Sketches: "NPR's Delicious Schweddy Balls," "The Courtney Love Show," "Mary Katherine Gallagher"

16

Years on Show: 1989-1995

Most Memorable Sketches: "Wayne's World," "Coffee Talk," "Simon," "Sprockets"

Post-Show Career: He had a pretty amazing Hollywood run with two Wayne's World movies, three Austin Powers films and the Shrek franchise, but 2008's The Love Guru was an absolute fiasco and he's kept a pretty low profile ever since.

15

Most Memorable Sketches: "King Tut," "The Festrunk Brothers," "Steve Martin's Penis Beauty Cream," "Theodoric of York," "Medieval Barber"

Post-Show Career: This is non-applicable since he was never a cast member of the show to begin with, but he's obviously been a successful movie star for decades. In recent years, he's devoted more time to bluegrass music and writing books.
