Kanye West isn't the only artist in hip-hop to take on Kim Kardashian as his muse: rappers have been rhyming about the reality TV superstar and her relatives for years. The Kardashian-Jenner clan has become the genre's primary reference point for everything from wealth to sex to power, and the songs name-dropping the family and its members – from Caitlyn to Kris to Robert Sr. to every single sister – range from brilliant to grotesque. Here are the 50 that matter most.

Drake, “6PM in New York” (2015)

Lyrics: "It's so childish calling my name on the world stage/You need to act your age and not your girl's age"

Backstory: Drake didn't take too kindly to Tyga's comments in a 2014 Vibe cover story in which the rapper insinuated that he only worked with other Cash Money artists out of obligation, which led to the deterioration of his relationship with the label. Drake responded with a sly diss towards the now-independent by calling out 25-year-old Tyga's rumored girlfriend, 17-year-old Kylie Jenner.

Donmonique, “Pilates” (2015)

Lyrics: "Got Kendall, got Kylie, got Miley/I can make the work stretch like pilates"

Backstory: According to Donmonique's Genius annotations, Kendall, Kylie and Miley's references are more than just a shout out to three of the most famous girls in the biz – they're new code names for drugs. "It's that white girl," she wrote. "It's coke, weed and molly. Kendall's a model, so she's coke; Kylie's kush, she's got green hair; and Miley is molly."

Lil Durk, “Faneto (Remix)” (2015)

Lyrics: "Grease my trigger finger, it ain't stuck/I just told Kendall Jenner, can I fuck?"

Backstory: In his remix of Chief Keef's "Faneto," Lil Durk is hyping his debut album, Remember My Name, firing shots at Young Money and shouting out his regular collaborator Meek Mill. There's nothing subtle about this thirst for Kendall, but at least he asked, which is more than we can say for some. (Looking at you, Mike Stud.)

Donnie Trumpet and the Social Experiment Featuring Quavo and King Louie, “Familiar” (2015)

Lyrics: "Aye 'Ye, where Kim at?/Kris Jenner, that's a kidnap"

Backstory: On one of Surf's catchiest tracks, Chance the Rapper gets King Louie and Quavo of Migos rapping about girls who are lack originality. In an effort to avoid the exhausting familiarity, Louie sets his sights on the star and the matriarch of the Kardashian empire.

Kanye West, “Awesome” (2014)

Lyrics: "Yeah, I'd rather do nothing with you/Than something with somebody new"

Backstory: After he performed it at the private Met Gala in 2013, West kept this love song under wraps for over a year. It was next played during the final moments of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians season 9 finale, as Kim adjusted her veil and left the Forte di Belvedere to meet West at the altar.

Beyonce Featuring Kanye West, “Drunk in Love (Remix)” (2014)

Lyrics: "And you always told your girlfriends you need you a TV show/Now you got your own money, you don't need nobody else/But far as handlin' all that ass, I think you gon' need some help/. . .You ain't on site then you on Skype/I put you on that bike, you bound, girl/We too wild, won't turn down/We drunk in love, fuck them"

Backstory: West has always said — in lyrics and interviews — that there has been, over the years, a "type of woman" who has been interested in him for his money and status. Here, he's frank about what he can offer Kim and what she brings to the table: "Now you got your own money, you don't need nobody else/But far as handlin' all that ass, I think you gon' need some help."

Future Featuring Kanye West, “I Won” (2014)

Lyrics: "You could look at Kylie, Kendall, Kourtney and Khloe/All your mama ever made was trophies, right?"

Backstory: Rumored to be a response to Ray-J's then-recently released diss track "I Hit It First," West's verse is all about Kim worship. That is, until its final lines, when he gives all the credit to Kris Jenner for making so many "trophies."

The Game’s Tim Westwood Freestyle (2014)

Lyrics: "Game know Khloe and Kim, they on speed dial/Game don't wear no tux at big dinners/Game hit the Mickey D's with Kris Jenner"

Backstory: During his appearance on British DJ Tim Westwood's freestyle video series, the Game made a few quick references to not only his past romantic relationship with Kim but also his longtime friendship with Khloe. Of course, their mom Kris gets a brief shout out; let's hope she actually did make some Mickey D's runs with the former G-Unit member.

Rae Sremmurd, “No Type” (2014)

Lyrics: "I got some models that you see up in the movies, and they want to make a flick for the camera/Wanna be Kim Kardashian, heard I was living like a bachelor"

Backstory: Rae Sremmurd are all positivity, celebrating the models, celebrating Kim and most of all, celebrating their love for girls the hook describes as "bad bitches." What's a bad bitch? Maybe they're going by Sister Souljah's definition: "A woman who handles her business without making it seem like business."

Lyrics: "Shout out to Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Scott Disick/When you see my pretty face, shut the fuck up and kiss it"

Statik Selektah Featuring Action Bronson, Black Thought and Royce Da 5’9″, “The Imperial” (2014)

Lyrics: "Yo, it's the rap Scott Disick/Come through the fuckin' block with some hot lizards"

Backstory: It's appropriate that Action Bronson opens up a track titled "The Imperial" by shouting out Lord Disick himself. In the process, he points out the longest lasting Kardashian beau's impeccable fashion sense.

Eminem, “Berzerk” (2013)

Lyrics: "They say that love is powerful as cough syrup in styrofoam/All I know is I fell asleep and woke up in that Monte Carlo/With the ugly Kardashian/Lamar, oh, sorry yo, we done both set the bar low"

Backstory: The Rick Rubin–produced "Berzerk" was largely a celebration of old-school hip-hop, but of course Eminem doesn't miss a chance to take pot shots at a female celebrity. His target this time around? "The ugly Kardashian," who is confirmed to be Khloe when the rapper references her then-husband Lamar Odom in the next line.

Ray J, “I Hit It First” (2013)

Lyrics: "And if you were to come back to me, girl/We'll make another movie"

Backstory: A decade after he dated Kim, Ray J released the bitter (but, admittedly, catchy) track speculating what would happen if his ex — who's since "gone West" — changed her mind. Everything from the cover art (a pixellated photo of Kim in the style of Kanye's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy artwork) to the Kim look-a-like cast in the video only proves that, while Kim is determined to move on from the tape that first brought her to prominence, Ray J is still desperately trying to cash in on it.

Travi$ Scott, “MIA” (2013)

Lyrics: "Listen, pimping your bitches might visit my Disick/Disick all business"

Backstory: As a member of West's GOOD Music family, it's only fitting that Scott found a way to bring 'Ye's previous use of "Disick" as slang on his own track.

The Game Featuring 2 Chainz and Rick Ross, “Ali Bomaye” (2013)

Lyrics: "I take my case to trial, hire the Dream Team/Robbie Kardashian, Johnnie Cochran, I seen things"

Backstory: A year before West would reference one-half of O.J. Simpson's defense team in "On Sight" ("And I know she like chocolate men/She got more niggas off than Cochran"), attorneys Robert Kardashian Sr. and Johnnie Cochran are name-checked by Rick Ross on this track, which also references Kanye's Air Yeezy II sneakers.

Mike Stud, “Amanda Bynes (Versace Remix)” (2013)

Lyrics: "Oh Kendall Jenner, I can't forget her/Man, that girl bad and I want her in the worst way/She's 17? Well, when the fuck is her birthday?"

Backstory: In his take on Migos' "Versace," then-25-year-old Mike Stud makes it clear which of the Jenner girls he's got his eye on, but just happens to do it in the creepiest way: by counting down the days 'til Kendall turns 18.

Mike Stud, “Gas Pedal (Remix)” (2013)

Lyrics: "Doing anything I can for a Kendall Jenner date/But if not then, it's on to the next, don't be mad at me"

Backstory: Five months after his last attempt at appearing on Kendall's radar (and right after she turned 18), Mike gave it one more shot in his remix of Sage the Gemini's "Gas Pedal."

Atmosphere Featuring Brother Ali, Carnage the Executioner and Hapduzn, “It Ain’t the Prettiest” (2013)

Lyrics: "I wait and watch for gas rates to drop/While you debate if Kim Kardashian’s booty is fake or not"

Backstory: When Barack Obama said in his Kindle Singles interview that, when he was growing up, "kids weren't monitoring every day what Kim Kardashian was wearing," he used the now-Mrs. West as a metaphor for tabloid culture. Atmosphere are effectively taking the same approach as the President here, by contrasting the act of indulging in Kim gossip with real problems: being able to afford gas and concern about your kids' welfare.

Kanye West Featuring DJ Khaled, “Cold” (2012)

Lyrics: "And I'll admit, I had fell in love with Kim/Around the same time she had fell in love with him/Well, that's cool, baby girl, do ya thang/Lucky I ain't had Jay drop him from the team"

Backstory: While some fans speculated that the "she had fell in love with him" line might be in reference to Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa (considering Khalifa is mentioned just one line earlier), there's no question as to who Jay could've dropped from the team: when the track came out, Kim's ex-husband Kris Humphries played for the Brooklyn Nets, in which Jay Z owned a minority stake.

Kanye West Featuring Big Sean, 2 Chainz and Marsha Ambrosius, “The One” (2012)

Lyrics: "That's my reality so get off my Scott Disick"

Backstory: West quickly teamed up with fellow Kardashian beau Scott Disick after hooking up with his longtime crush. The rapper has been a fan of Disick's style, and in 2013 he got the reality star to appear in an American Psycho–inspired commercial for Yeezus. On this Cruel Summer track, Disick's name gets used in lieu of the more inappropriate term it closely resembles.

Kanye West Featuring Big Sean and Jay Z, “Clique” (2012)

Lyrics: "My girl a superstar all from a home movie/Bow on our arrival – the un-American idols"

Backstory: No one on this earth is prouder of Kim K's career trajectory than her husband. On "Clique," he celebrates how far she's come from her "home movie" to the power couple they are today.

Tink, “Kardashian” (2012)

Lyrics: "Whippin' up that white girl, tryna get that white money/Whippin' up that white girl, Kardashian, Kardashian"

Backstory: Chicago rapper Tink's "Kardashian" uses reality TV's first family as a metaphor for "that white money." It may also be the catchiest ode to getting paid like Kim K out there.

Hoodie Allen, “Eighteen Cool” (2012)

Lyrics: "Your girl is cashing in, Kourtney Kardashian"

Backstory: If "Sixteen Blue" is the black sheep who smokes cigs and cuts class, "Eighteen Cool" is the jock older brother doing keg stands after prom. When he empties his solo cup, Hoodie Allen keeps it light via pop culture references and Jeezy-style smug motivation.

Twista Featuring Juicy J, “Yo Bitch Chose Me” (2012)

Lyrics: "Ass fat, waist slim, Kim Kardashian fashion"

Backstory: We'll never know if Twista's dreaming of another man's girl who dresses like Kim did pre- or post-West's 2012 closet overhaul, but there's one thing he and 'Ye would agree on: this girl is independent and "the type you don't own."

Lyrics: "I deserve this, for all of this working/Fuck that, I deserve to see Kim Kardashian shirtless in person"

Backstory: Before he dropped the ultimate West remix album, The Late Registration of a College Dropout Who Had a Dark Twisted Fantasy of 808s and Heartbreak, Connor name-checked Kim as the kind of prize he felt he "deserved" for all his efforts.

Lyrics: "'Cause all I wanna do was roll up hash/And smash the ass of a bitch who lived like Kim Kardashian"

Backstory: They might've since blazed by him, but in 2012 Ocean and Lamar were guests on this Mann track. Within a year, though, the latter would be opening for West on the Yeezus Tour, while Mann was probably still dreaming of kush and Kim's tush.

Lyrics: "If I said it, I live it, the black Scott Disick"

Backstory: When British grime MC Skepta premiered "Hold On" on DJ Target's BBC radio show, the host made sure to rewind his Scott Disick line for a second play. "For those of you who don't know, Scott Disick is the super cool one," Target said of the father of Kourtney's three children. "The most swag!" added Skepta.

YG Featuring Tyga and Nipsey Hussle, “Bitches Ain’t Shit” (2011)

Lyrics: "Got this bitch named Tar, she let me fuck her in the car/Like Kim Kardashian, she wanna be a star"

Backstory: "Bitches Ain't Shit" opens with a sample of Snoop Dogg repeating the title, then YG kicks it off by detailing how bored he is with all the women in the life. Worst is the girl so dull that the rapper needs pills to spend time with her. If Tyga and Hussle were really there for him, they might have suggested that the problem isn't just the ladies.

Lyrics: "I be with a bitch that looks like Kim Kardashian/Shittin' on these niggas not by purpose but by accident"

Backstory: Look, we're not saying when Meek Mill wrote the line, "I be with a bitch that looks like Kim Kardashian" that he was predicting his future relationship with Nicki Minaj — who is the only contemporary star to rival Kim's waist-to-booty ratio — but we're not not saying that, either.

Lyrics: "You're my devil, you're my angel/You're my heaven, you're my hell/You're my now, you're my forever/You're my freedom, you're my jail/You're my lies, you're my truth/You're my war, you're my truce/You're my questions, you're my proof/You're my stress and you're my masseuse"

Backstory: In his most explicitly romantic verse to date, West expressed his love for Kim through a series of grand contrasts: heaven and hell, lies and truth, freedom and jail. The lyrics began their life in 2009 as e-mailed love letters to his future wife, the rapper told radio personality Angie Martinez in 2014.

Childish Gambino, “Let Me Dope You” (2010)

Lyrics: "You wouldn't think from the things I'm fashionin'/I'd get more bush than Kim Kardashian"

Backstory: Donald Glover, like many others, owes a great debt to Kim and her family for entering their name into the pop culture lexicon and inadvertently giving rappers a new word to rhyme with "fashion" or, in this case, "fashionin'." This play on words is a clear reference to Reggie Bush, the 49ers' running back and Kim's on-again, off-again boyfriend from 2007 to 2010.

Jamie Foxx Featuring Drake, Kanye West and The-Dream, “Digital Girl (Remix)” (2009)

Lyrics: "In Playboy mags like Stacey Dash/Or Kim Kardashian, be a lady at. . . it."

Backstory: One of West's earliest mentions of Kim comes in this verse, where he gives his digital girl some sage tips for safe sexting: "When you take the picture, cut off your face/And cover up the tattoo by the waist."

Eminem, “We Made You” (2009)

Lyrics: "Damn, I think Kim Kardashian's a man/She stomped him just 'cause he asked to put his hands/On her massive gluteus maximus again/Squeeze it and squish it and pass it to a friend"

Backstory: On "We Made You," Eminem guides a TMZ tour through the wasteland of America popular culture, circa 2009. To the left, there's a couplet poking fun at the John Mayer–Jennifer Aniston relationship, and to the right is a line about squeezing Kim K's butt. Listen as it morphs into a plea for Lindsay Lohan to break up with Samantha Ronson and return to dating men.

Young Money Featuring Lil Chuckee and Lil Twist, “Girl, I Got You” (2009)

Lyrics: "If we had a team, I’d be Reggie Bush/You'd be Kim Kardashian, your body so amazing"

Backstory: Two of Young Money's youngest members, Lil Twist and Lil Chuckee, teamed up for this heavily auto-tuned preteen love song off of the label's first compilation album, We Are Young Money. Kim and her football player ex-beau Reggie Bush serve as one of the kids' many examples of a perfect love story: they also cite Will and Jada Pinkett Smith and the characters Rashad and NewNew from the movie ATL.

J Dilla Featuring Black Thought, “Reality Check” (2009)

Lyrics: "I'm so through with women/Who watch reruns of the Real World with dinner/And Kim Kardashian, moms and Bruce Jenner"

Backstory: Roots MC Black Thought takes to an unused J Dilla beat to express his frustration with a girl who watches Channel Zero. His verses include some 50 reality show references, and these lines include two big ones.

Snoop Dogg, “Whatever U Do” (2008)

Lyrics: "Look at the place I'm in/I never fucked Superhead or Kim Kardashian/It's a disgrace to yourself"

Backstory: By 2008, Calvin Broadus Jr. had grown into a family man, hosting Snoop Dogg's Father Hood and dissing peers who preferred to sleep around. He did the latter here by name-dropping two famous women: Kim and Confessions of a Video Vixen author Karrine Steffans.

88-Keys Featuring Kanye West “Stay Up (Viagra)” (2008)

Lyrics: "Try imagining/Something passionate/Between you, Cassie and Kim Kardashian"

Backstory: Behold: West's first lyrical reference to Kim, occurring four years after they met and four years before they started dating. Okayplayer favorite 88-Keys attempted to make a West-ian transition from producer to solo artist with this take on erectile dysfunction, and his friend contributed a pair of verses filled with mental aides such as this.

Chamillionaire, “All Around the World” (2008)

Lyrics: "They be like you look exactly like it's him/Kardashian, it looks exactly like a Kim."

Backstory: This is another one of those "car dashin'" puns. Flowing over the "Paid in Full" beat recycled for Lloyd's "Girls Around the World," Chamillionaire offers some clever couplets. Unfortunately, nothing he says compares to Lil Wayne's Rakim-in-love riff from the original.

Craig Mack, “Flava in Ya Ear” (1994)

Lyrics: "This bad MC with stamina like Bruce Jenner/a winner"

Backstory: A less confident rapper would have tried to bend "stamina," "Jenner" and "winner" until they rhymed, but Mack lets the unchanged words sit side by side by side, all sounding slightly off. Sadly, the line proved untrue: his only other hit, "Get Down," was released just months later.

Das EFX, “Crazy Wit Da Books” (1993)

Lyrics: "The super-duper trooper, oops I'm no beginner/So watch me get loose and run shit like Bruce Jenner"

Backstory: On "Crazy Wit Da Books," Das EFX claim that they "got the knack to freak a track like they were sprintin' in some Asics" and deliver the internal rhymes to prove it. The Jenner reference keeps with the running metaphor, but the song's most creative reference comes one verse later: "I'm followed by your camp like John Cougar" – line break – "Mellen."
