24. Chef Sings 'Chocolate Salty Balls' (Season 2, Episode 9)

He helped make Shaft a legend – and then Isaac Hayes crooned about his "Chocolate Salty Balls." After Robert Redford moves Sundance to South Park, Chef sets up a stall to sell food to festgoers – at which point the Oscar-winning singer gives us an epic funky ode to his signature delicacy. ("Hey everybody/Have you seen my balls/They're big and salty and brooown!") The song actually reached #1 on the UK Singles Chart in 1998, the first time that had ever happened for the soul-music legend. "Suck on them" indeed. The episode is also somewhat famous for when Cartman says all independent films are about "gay cowboys eating pudding"; whether this line was the inspiration for Brokeback Mountain seven years later has yet to be confirmed.
