Gary Fogel

48. Gary Fogel

Best-known episode: "The Scofflaw"
It's rare when George and Jerry encounter someone who can top them both for shallow selfishness — but Gary Fogel is such a man. As played by SNL's Jon Lovitz, he's an old friend who fakes cancer to win sympathy and pick up women. Jerry gives him a gift certificate from Hair Team for Men, to hide the chemo-induced hair loss. Gary uses it to buy a toupee and starts hitting on "Miss Cool Toes" down at the coffee shop. ("Check this out, Jack!") Lovitz brings his full-on slimeball mode. ROB SHEFFIELD
