Will Ferrell to Host ‘Saturday Night Live’
According to Entertainment Weekly, Will Ferrell will host the May 12th episode of Saturday Night Live, featuring musical guest Usher. The SNL alum last hosted the show in May 2009 and this will be his third time as host. Though Ferrell has also returned to the show in non-host capacities, he is now Number Four among former cast members on the all-time SNL host appearances list, tied with Tina Fey and behind Dana Carvey, Bill Murray and Chevy Chase. Usher will perform as the night’s musical guest in support of his upcoming record, Looking for Myself.
Ferrell recently announced a sequel to his 2004 cult classic Anchorman, but no further details have been revealed. Ferrell also starred in the Spanish language film Casa De Mi Padre, released last month.
