Weekend Rock Question: Who’s the Best ‘SNL’ Cast Member of All Time?

Saturday Night Live’s 40th anniversary is still technically eight months away, but that didn’t stop them from throwing an enormous television reunion event on Sunday night that attracted over 23.1 million viewers. It was NBC’s highest rated non-Super Bowl broadcast since the Will & Grace finale in 2006. In the build-up to the event, we posted our exhaustive ranking of all 141 cast members.

Now we have a question: Who do you think is the greatest cast member in the history of Saturday Night Live? Feel free to vote for a 1970s icon like John Belushi and Gilda Radner, a 1990s figure like Chris Farley and Phil Hartman or someone more recent like Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader. Anyone from the show’s entire history counts, even people like Ben Stiller and Sarah Silverman that left without making much of an impact. We know it’s hard, but please only vote once and only for a single person.
