It seems like Hollywood churns out more and more sequels every year. Some of them, like Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, are pretty great. Most are pointless retreads of the original, like Grown Ups 2 or The Hangover Part II. We remain cautiously optimistic about Dumb and Dumber To, though sequels that come out decades after the original are rarely great.
