Watch Rick Ross, Young Thug, Wale’s Fiery ‘Trap Trap Trap’ on ‘Fallon’
Rick Ross, Young Thug and Wale took over The Tonight Show with a performance of “Trap Trap Trap” Wednesday. The track appears on the Maybach Music chief’s latest album Rather You Than Me.
Ross set the stage with an energizing opening salvo, after which Young Thug joined him onstage for a flashy, furious and frantically censored verse (“So many different meds on me/ Fuck around, call the feds on me”). Wale descended from The Tonight Show bleachers to close out the show, making a quick stop by Jimmy Fallon’s desk to spit the track with the host and equally thrilled guest, Leslie Jones.
Ross released Rather You Than Me in March. The LP marks the rapper’s ninth and first since 2015’s Black Market. Ross has a handful of concerts planned in support of the Rather You Than Me, starting with a short stretch that begins May 18th in Chicago and includes stops in Washington D.C., Philadelphia and Brooklyn.
