Watch ‘High Maintenance’ Creators Quiz Each Other on Bad Habits
On September 16th, High Maintenance will make the jump from Vimeo to HBO. The popular web series, created by spouses Ben Sinclair and Katja Blichfeld, follows a marijuana delivery man as he brings his product around New York City. The couple stopped by Rolling Stone ahead of the series premiere to do a High Maintenance roundtable.
To kick things off, Sinclair asked his wife about the oddest location they have ever shared a kiss on set. Blichfeld let Sinclair answer and he recalled a smooch after “watching a man’s balls descend into a bowl of milk.”
Next, he quizzed his wife about the weirdest thing he does while filming, which is a faux-South African accent when he calls “action” and “eating his beard” all day. “I married that,” she joked before he noted her habit of staring at the ground when she’s uncomfortable.
The couple then played a revised game of “Marry, Fuck, Kill” titled “Marry, Fuck, Excommunicate,” with Sinclair surprising his wife by asking which of his clothes she would want to to get rid of to wrap up the roundtable.
