All six Star Wars films will be available for download on digital platforms like iTunes, Amazon, Google Play and Vudu for the first time starting April 10th, The Wall Street Journal reports.

As incentive for fans who already own the two trilogies on DVD and Blu-ray (or for those who have committed the space odyssey to memory), each digital download will come with two new behind-the-scenes featurettes: Discoveries from Inside and Conversations. Conversations will feature interviews with key Star Wars contributors, while Discoveries examines the design and technical aspects of the films, such as models and miniatures, holograms, weapons and sound.

Each download will also include “legacy content,” including deleted scenes and mini-documentaries such as “George Lucas On Editing The Empire Strikes Back 1979″ and “From Puppets to Pixels: Digital Characters in Episode II,” which will likely appeal to that subset of Jar Jar Binks fanatics. A complete rundown of each film’s bonus content is available on the Star Wars website. Fans will be able to purchase the Star Wars saga as a bundle or as individual films, but they will not be available to rent through video-on-demand.

The digital re-releases arrive as the Star Wars franchise prepares for a busy 2015 that caps off with J.J. Abrams’ highly anticipated reboot, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which opens December 18th. The new film will feature cast members from the original trilogy, including Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill, reprising their roles alongside newcomers Adam Driver, Lupita Nyong’o, Max von Sydow, Andy Serkis, John Boyega and Daisy Ridley.
