Nickelodeon Star Victoria Justice’s Solo Album is ‘Freaking Out’ Her Friends

Victoria Justice – who stars on the hit Nickelodeon show Victorious – is at work on a solo album that she hopes to release next year. But her friends are already getting nervous about the 20 songs she’s written so far.
“Most of the songs I have written about people I have played for them, but I haven’t told them so I think they’re getting paranoid in the head,” says Justice, who is 18. “It’s freaking them out.”
That’s because most of the songs are based on her personal experiences. “There are some about relationships and me being mad at some people, me loving people, and just random stuff.”
But Justice has bigger things to worry about than whether her friends might get mad at her. (“I can’t hold a grudge anyway,” she claims.) Besides her TV show and the album, she’s also working on a big-screen project.
“I just filmed my first lead in a feature film, Fun Size, for Paramount with Chelsea Handler and Johnny Knoxville, with Josh Schwartz directing,” she says. The movie comes out in October 2012. “So I’m going to get in the studio more and write some music for my show on Nickelodeon and write some music for me.” She’s also hoping that one of those songs will be on the Fun Size soundtrack: “I have a song that would be perfect.”
