Most of the ‘Glee’ Cast Regulars Set to Return Next Season

Glee will retain most of its cast when the show returns for its fourth season this fall, Deadline reports.
Plenty of rumors regarding who would and wouldn’t return – or who would or wouldn’t have their own spin-off – circulated following the end of the show’s third season as primary characters left McKinley High following graduation. Show co-creator Ryan Murhpy, however, offered all 15 regulars an open invitation to return, and almost all have accepted.
Deadline also reported that Chord Overstreet, who joined the show in a recurring role in its second season, left, and returned midway through its third, is in talks to become a regular in Glee‘s fourth season.
The full list of those set to return includes Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Matthew Morrison, Jane Lynch, Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Darren Criss, Naya Rivera, Amber Riley, Jenna Ushkowitz, Jayma Mays, Dianna Agron, Mark Salling, Harry Shum Jr. and Heather Morris.
With such a large cast – and one that continues to grow, with guest stars such as Kate Hudson, Sarah Jessica Parker and American Idol runner-up Jessica Sanchez set to appear – not everyone will be able to appear in each episode. The reduced screen time could bode well for some of the show’s cast who are pursuing other outside projects, like Morrison, who is the first artist signed to Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine’s new label 222 Records.
