Jon Stewart will be performing his first broadcast stand-up specials in more than 20 years. As The Hollywood Reporter notes, the two planned comedy specials will air on HBO. His last special, which also aired on HBO, was 1996’s Jon Stewart: Unleavened.

Of course, Stewart has been pretty busy in the time between stand-up specials, having hosted The Daily Show for 16 years. Following his departure in 2015, he signed a four-year production deal with HBO. The dates and locations for the new specials have not yet been revealed.

“I’m really thrilled to be able to return to stand-up on HBO. They’ve always set the standard for great stand-up specials,” Stewart said in a statement. “Plus, I can finally use up the last of the Saddam Hussein jokes left over from my first special.”

Beyond the planned stand-up specials, Stewart will host HBO’s Night of Too Many Stars, a benefit for non-profit organization NEXT for Autism. The event will be broadcast live from the Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York on November 18th and will feature stand-up performances, sketches and short films.

Stewart has recently made several late night TV surprise appearances. Earlier this month, he popped up on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where he berated a boy for having a Kimmel-themed bar mitzvah instead of one dedicated to the former Daily Show host, and he’s also surprised audiences during The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. In May, Colbert hosted a Daily Show reunion on The Late Show that included Stewart, John Oliver, Samantha Bee, Ed Helms and Rob Coddry.
