Jack White Explains Triple-Decker Vinyl on New VH1 Show

‘For What It’s Worth’ visits the rocker’s Third Man Records studio

Jack White is an extensive vinyl collector, and on the new VH1 Classic show For What It's Worth, the rocker welcomed the hosts of the show – including Gary "Baba Booey" Dell'Abate – to his Third Man Records studio, where he explained the idea behind Third Man's collectable triple decker vinyl releases.

The triple-deckers contain a seven-inch single hidden within two separate 12-inch records glued together. White poses the dilemma of what's more important to a collector: preserving the outside 12-inch, leaving the single forever encased inside, or breaking open the record to get at the bonus track.

For What It's Worth premieres tonight at 10 p.m. EST.
