Where Does Eminem Rank on Our 100 Greatest Artists List?
Eminem has previewed the album with three songs so far, most recently including the tongue-twisting “Rap God.” Meanwhile, his homage to the Eighties rap, “Berzerk,” is still holding strong in the upper echelons of the Billboard Hot 100. The 16-track LP also features contributions from Kendrick Lamar, Rihanna and fun. singer Nate Ruess.
It’s not out of the question that Eminem’s appearance could include the rapper appearing in a sketch or two: he once stopped by the Weekend Update desk for an old-school hip-hop bit.
Eminem’s appearance follows a string of high-profile musical guests on the season so far, including Arcade Fire for the season premiere, Miley Cyrus as host and musical guest and, last weekend, Katy Perry, who performed a pair of songs from her new album Prism. The show returns live on October 26th with musical guest Janelle Monáe and host Edward Norton.
