Carrie Fisher will reprise Princess Leia in the new series of Star Wars movies on the way from Disney, making her the first cast member from the original films to confirm that she has signed on.

Asked by Palm Beach Illustrated to describe Princess Leia now, Fisher replied, “Elderly.”

“She’s in an intergalactic old folks’ home,” Fisher continued. “I just think she would be just like she was before, only slower and less inclined to be up for the big battle.” Even so, Leia won’t have lost her spark: Fisher joked that she could once again wear the memorably revealing outfit Leia sported in Return of the Jedi. “The bagel buns and the bikini, because probably she has sundowners syndrome,” said Fisher. “At sundown, she thinks that she’s twentysomething. And she puts it on and gets institutionalized.”

Plenty of past Star Wars rumors have been swirling since Disney bought Lucasfilm last fall for more than $4 billion and announced a new trilogy of movies. Mark Hamill is in talks to return as Luke Skywalker. Harrison Ford has expressed interest in reprising his role as Han Solo, and Ian McDiarmid, who played Emperor Palpatine, hasn’t ruled out a return. Ewan McGregor, who played Obi-Wan Kenobi in Episodes I-III, has said he’d be willing to make a spin-off based on his character.
