Brad Pitt Gives Surprise Weather Forecast on ‘Jim Jefferies Show’: ‘There Is No Future’

Actor makes surprise appearance on Comedy Central show

Brad Pitt was the bearer of bad news on the Monday night premiere of The Jim Jefferies Show, but it’s safe to say that the A-list actor somehow still managed to mitigate the doom and gloom with his characteristic charm.

Jefferies introduced Pitt as the Jim Jefferies Show’s own weatherman, someone who would “help us understand climate change and what it means for the world” following President Trump’s decision to withdraw the U.S. from the Paris Accord just last week.

Pitt, looking a little frazzled and worn out in an oversized brown sports jacket and a patterned brown tie, stood before a green screen showing a weather map with all seven continents ablaze in red and orange.

“Things are going to be getting warmer in this area here,” he said, gesturing vaguely to one part of the map, before turning his attention to another part and sweeping his arm across the screen. “And this area here.”

A concerned-looking Jefferies then asked Pitt, “Do you have any future forecast for us?” to which the actor said with a slight smirk, “There is no future.”

Pitt has backed a number of environmental and humanitarian causes during his time in the spotlight, including his Make It Right Foundation, which he established in 2007 to help New Orleans rebuild following Hurricane Katrina, with the introduction of environmentally sustainable homes to New Orleans’ Lower 9th Ward.

The War Machine star has also worked closely with the Clinton Foundation to bring attention to environmental and energy-related issues.
