‘Archer’ Rides the Highway to the ‘Danger Zone’
In honor of Archer‘s upcoming new season, the show’s best long-running gag and Kenny Loggins’ still-impeccable Top Gun theme song, the folks responsible for the hilarious espionage cartoon have put together a stellar teaser trailer. It finds the Isis gang riding the ol’ highway to the “Danger Zone” with all the most iconic Top Gun moments included, from shirtless volleyball to crooning “You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling.” Archer even throws Cyril’s dog tags into the ocean after his tragic death.

Of course, there are plenty of ridiculous Archer-esque twists for the characters: Cheryl sniffs glue, Krieger rips a guitar solo and Ray repeatedly spills coffee on himself. There’s one last loop thrown at the end, but we won’t ruin it for you.
Archer returns to FX this January.
