It’s been a big week for Harry Styles, with the release of his new album Harry’s House and a “One Night Only” show in New York to promote his upcoming tour. Now, the Prince of Pop’s procession continues with the release of a new fashion book titled Harry Styles and the Clothes He Wears.
Available for to order online now, the hardcover tome features more than 100 photos of Styles, along with “the pop idols who have influenced his sartorial taste.” The 160-page coffee table book includes pics and anecdotes of some of Hazza’s most memorable outfits, from his yellow bucket hat (which has sprung up a host of imitators) to his ongoing relationship with Gucci, who outfitted the star at his recent Coachella performances.
The new book is written by Terry Newman, who has worked in the fashion industry for more than 20 years, as an editor at magazines like i-D, Attitude, and Self Service. The UK-based journalist also brings an extensive knowledge of Styles’ music career and sartorial prowess to the proceedings.
Though Styles isn’t quoted directly for the book, Newman does interview many of the designers and fashion houses who have worked with the singer over the years.
“Part fashion history lesson, pulling references from the rock and roll greats of the past, and part innovation, Harry’s style pays homage to Kurt Cobain and Marc Bolan, Prince and Little Richard, while developing into something authentic and entirely his own,” reads a description from publisher ACC Art Books. “This chic book fizzles with facts about Harry’s styling choices, presenting the star’s most revered looks alongside pictures that trace the roots of each design.”
A true collector’s item and a great gift for Harry Styles fans, Harry Styles and the Clothes He Wears comes with a cloth-lined cover and luxurious quarter binding (where the spine is covered in a different material than the cover). Get it now for $30 on Amazon.com.
