Who Do You Love?: Not Kerry, Apparently

Quinnipiac University has released a favorability ranking of America’s top politicians and presidential contenders. The poll holds great news for Rudy and Barack. John Kerry, however, is in America’s dog house, checking in four points below President Bush, who’s at 44 percent favorable.

The true winner in this poll is Obama. The numbers in parentheses below indicate the percent of responders who didn’t know enough to form an opinion. That means Obama (41%) has a lot of introductions to make, but that so far people love what they see.

Compare that to Hillary (1% undecided). That means a far more challenging task is ahead of her if she wants to be president: Changing the minds of people who know her well, and dislike her because of it.

Also surprising: Joe Lieberman’s likeability quotient is greater than the ever sunny John Edwards.’
