Tim Dickinson on Romney’s Billionaire Boys Club

Rolling Stone contributing editor Tim Dickinson appeared on The Young Turks with Cenk Uygur to talk about the cohort of super-rich donors who have given at least $1 million to Mitt Romney’s SuperPAC (which Dickinson writes about here). Romney’s club of billionare supporters includes William Koch – “the other Koch Brother” – Jim Davis, the CEO of New Balance, and the heirs to the Marriott fortune.
All the members of this club are, of course, fabulously wealthy, but they have at least one other thing in common: “There’s a commonality there that’s just purely in their financial interest, to get this guy elected,” Dickinson says in the clip below. Romney’s planned tax cuts and preservation of interest loopholes give this bunch some real financial incentives for bankrolling his way to victory. Watch:
