More Than 2,000 Writers Get Behind Occupy Wall Street

For about a month, has been an online spot where writers could sign their names in support of Occupy Wall Street and the 99 Percent movement. As of today, ThinkProgress reports, more than 2,000 have lent their names, among them: Francine Prose, Jonathan Lethem, Gary Shteyngart, Eve Ensler and Lemony Snicket.

• Protesters in Zuccotti Park are confronting a problem common to many New Yorkers: insufficient space. Organizers have been adding large, military-style tents and considering building upward with bunk beds to maximize the park’s two-thirds of an acre. [Wall Street Journal]
