"If you are a Democrat, you have to like the atmosphere."
That's the word from Republican Congressman Tom Davis, one of the GOP's top campaign architects. Republican strategists tell the Washington Post they now expect to lose between seven and thirty House seats this fall. Fifteen would give the Democrats control of the House.
It's hard to form an overall sense of what will happen in the House, because there are simply so many moving parts. But the President's approval ratings are down again, in four separate polls just out. Not great news for the Republicans.
