Donald Trump’s Golfghazi: Will a Round With Samuel L. Jackson Sink Him?

Somebody check his emails: After the Donald claims to have never played golf with the actor, Samuel L. produces the bill. This is serious

Between running for president, keeping the birther movement alive and ingesting the vital essence of the young, Donald Trump is a very busy man, man – so you can’t expect him to remember everyone he plays golf with.

But you’d better believe he never forgets to charge them for the privilege.

And that’s gotten him in hot water with actor Samuel L. Jackson, who recently received a membership bill from Trump’s National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey – despite not being a member of said club. Upset, he told the tale in United Airlines’ Rhapsody magazine (that thing you read when your iPad is dead and you’ve already exhausted the safety pamphlet), and then went one step further, claiming Trump cheated at golf…an allegation that earned a swift rebuke from The Donald himself.

“I don’t know Samuel L Jackson, to the best of my knowledge haven’t played golf with him,” Trump tweeted. “[I] think he does too many TV commercials – boring. Not a fan.”

Apparently, Trump has never seen one of Jackson’s films, because he made the mistake of angering the actor – who responded by posting a photo of Trump’s bill on Instagram (of course, he forgot to blur out his address, so he quickly removed the pic). “A bill from the guy that doesn’t know me and never golfed with me,” Jackson wrote. “I’m gonna block his ass, too!”

Still upset, Jackson then posted some “corroborating testimony” from fellow actor (and golfer) Anthony Anderson, who not only remembered playing with Trump, but the lunch they had, too. Because who can forget “shrimp and hot dogs?”

Got some corroborating testimony from @anthonyanderson about that Trump golf game!

So far, Trump has yet to return fire – though, if he actually manages to become president, you can bet he won’t invite Jackson to play on his personal White House putting green.
