Tonight is the final night of the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, when Hillary Clinton will formally accept the party’s nomination for president. Capping off the four-day convention, Clinton will be introduced by her daughter, Chelsea Clinton. Many people are expecting comparisons between the young woman who grew up in the public eye when her father was president in the Nineties and Ivanka Trump, who introduced her father a week prior during the RNC when he accepted the GOP’s nomination for president.
Each night, celebrities and performers have appeared to show their support and tonight Katy Perry, Sheila E, Carole King, Chloe Grace Moretz and basketball legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar will all take to the stage. Last night, the convention included speeches by President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton’s running mate Tim Kaine, former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg and Gabby Giffords and Mark Kelly. So far, the consensus seems to be that the most memorable speech was First Lady Michelle Obama’s speech on the first night of the high-powered, four-day event.
