Cushioning the California Blow?

Not sure why Howard Wolfson is pre-spinning like this on a conference call right now:

"Judging by the Zogby poll if Obama doesn't win California by 13 points, it will have to be considered a disappointing evening."

Either he doesn't like Clinton's odds in the Golden State and is lowering the bar, or his internal metric is more like Survey USA's and he's setting up a false expectation. Tea leaves. Tea leaves.
