Watch Wyclef Jean's Sunny 'I Swear' Video Featuring Young Thug

Secret agent theme involves saving real life fiancée

Wyclef Jean has released his video for "I Swear," which features Young Thug.

Just in time for the winter's arctic weather to set in, Wyclef Jean drops his "I Swear" video with Young Thug, which features enviable sun-kissed beach scenes, bikinis and a secret agent assignment.

In the Kid Art-directed clip, Wyclef and Young Thug are attending a swimwear-themed fashion show beach side when Wyclef gets a phone call from Sweetest Girl (a reference to 2007's "Sweetest Girl (Dollar Bill)"). It turns out, he's a secret agent and his mission is to save Young Thug's real life fiancée Jerrika Karlae from an assassin. Maneuverings with a poisoned cocktail and a cheeky fight scene later ensues.

The clip cuts between the beach footage and performance shots featuring Wyclef and Young Thug playing and singing in a Mad Max-styled sandstorm. Despite the video's distressing themes, the song has a romantic, danceable sway. "And I swear/ Ain't nobody breaking us up/ I'm a stay with you forever, girl," Wyclef sings. "And I swear/ Know that you were here from the start/ You ain't going nowhere."

"Hey, honeymoon/ Sprinking flowers over you," Young Thug sings on his verse. "Stand on the couch, baby, I'm wildin' over you/ Take everything, bae, I'm a coward over you."

The pair recently teamed up for Young Thug's "Kanye West" and "Elton." Wyclef Jean's Carnival III: Road to Clefication is expected to be released next summer to mark the 20th anniversary of his debut album, The Carnival.
