Thirty Seconds to Mars have detailed their third annual Summer Camp event, scheduled from August 12th to 14th in Malibu, California. The weekend-long Camp Mars features activities like yoga, hiking, archery, meditation, professional speakers and two performances from the Jared Leto-fronted alt-rock band.
"When last year's Camp sold out in just over a day, we were blown away and humbled," Leto said in a statement announcing the event. "And to be doing this for a third year in a row is an absolute dream. We not only get to share our music, great food and tons of fun with people we love – but it also takes place in one of our favorite places on the planet, the beautiful mountains of sunny Malibu, California."
In a video trailer, the singer-actor elaborates on his decision to host the event in Malibu. "I've been coming to this area for 20 years," he says. "I was always curious about this place, and I thought, 'What an amazing location' and how fun it would be to do something here … It's a really beautiful gift to be able to do something that's so unique."
Ticket packages, available to purchase February 1st at 10 a.m. PT, will be sold exclusively through the Adventures in Wonderland website.
In October, Thirty Seconds to Mars released the Leto-directed Camp Mars concert film, highlighting the "adult summer camp." The band is currently working on their fifth studio album, which follows 2013's Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams.
