Halle Berry proves that her Oscar-winning acting chops translate to the world of pop. In a recurring series by W Magazine called "Lyrical Improv with Lynn Hirschberg," the actress gave a dramatic reading of Britney Spears' 2000 hit "Oops!... I Did It Again." She kept a straight face while her interpretation veered into psychotic territory.
Berry's rendition was coupled by a mashup of "Toxic" by another Oscar winner, Jodie Foster, with Indian actress and singer Priyanka Chopra (who, incidentally, was crowned Miss World the same year "Oops!" was released). Foster turned Spears' Mile High Club-themed dalliance into sober screed, heightened by clips of Chopra singing the words and jumping around like a true Spears fan.
Britney Spears' ninth studio album Glory will be released this Friday featuring a number of single already released such as "Make Me" (feat G-Eazy) and "Clumsy." On Sunday, the singer will perform one of her new singles live at MTV's Video Music Awards.
