Adele debuted the sweeping video for her latest and most upbeat 25 single "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)" during the Billboard Music Awards Sunday night. Patrick Daughters (Yeah Yeah Yeahs' "Maps," Muse's "Stockholm Syndrome") directed the clip.
In the video, Adele stands against a stark black backdrop and becomes polychromatic burst of visions and colors. "We both know we ain't kids no more," she sings, whirling her flowing gown to the beat of the song's joyous declarations of freedom.
Adele released her third album, 25, in November and ended up topping the Billboard 200 for ten consecutive weeks with it. She's currently performing a sold out tour of Europe in support of the massive LP and will be headlining Glastonbury the weekend of June 22nd to wrap the UK leg. Her North American tour kicks off on July 5th and runs through November 15th.Kesha slowed down Bob Dylan's "It Ain't Me Babe" with Ben Folds at the Billboard Music Awards. Watch here.
