Dustin Lynch gave the television debut of his new song "Seein' Red" yesterday evening, performing the tune on TBS' late night show Conan. The first taste of Lynch's upcoming third album, "Seein' Red" follows a succession of Number One singles that includes "Mind Reader," "Hell of a Night" and "Where It's At."
Sporting a form-fitting T-shirt from his own newly-launched Stay Country fashion line, Lynch saunters to the mic while his band marches through the call-and-response guitar work in the song's intro. He isn't beating around the bush about what's on his mind: "Wherever we're going, gotta get there fast," he sings, feverishly dreaming about a backseat encounter with this woman dressed in red. Following the similarly-themed "Mind Reader," Lynch's performance style has a seductive touch that wasn't foregrounded for his early releases like "Cowboys and Angels."
This evening (July 7th), Lynch plays a set at the Country Concert in Ft. Laramie, Ohio, followed by two evenings (July 8th and 9th) at Klipsch Music Center in Noblesville, Indiana with Luke Bryan's Kill the Lights Tour.
