Rihanna Tortures, Kidnaps in NSFW 'Bitch Better Have My Money' Video

'Hannibal' star Mads Mikkelsen and Eric Roberts appear in thrilling, violent clip

Rihanna has dropped the action-packed and very NSFW video for her single "Bitch Better Have My Money." In it, she takes the song's lyrics literally as she attempts — and later succeeds — in getting her money through torture and extreme violence.

Co-directed by Rihanna and MegaForce, the clip has the pop star kidnapping a wealthy woman from her apartment. Rihanna keeps her in a large trunk ("Got your wife in the backseat of my brand new foreign car," she sings on the track) and the kidnapper's small crew take her to a warehouse and motel as they ride through a desert and continue to torture and torment her.

Later, it's revealed that the woman is romantically involved with The Accountant ("AKA "The Bitch," as is written on the screen when he appears tied up in his own home). Rihanna had been unsuccessfully using his kidnapped wife as leverage to get her money, but when he continued to not bite, she ended up killing the man, as is inferred by the brandishing of several knives labeled things like "Cheater" and "Fucked Up My Credit." The video ends with a shot of Rihanna, naked and covered in blood and lying on a trunk filled with cash.

The Accountant is played by Hannibal's Mads Mikkelsen, while Eric Roberts — who had been a prolific music video guest star in the early millennium, appearing in clips for the Killers and Mariah Carey — has a minor role as a clueless police officer.

"Bitch Better Have My Money" is the second single off Rihanna's as-yet-untitled eighth album. Released back in March following previews on lip-synching app Dubsmash, "BBHMM" followed the album's lead single "FourFiveSeconds," an acoustic collaboration with Kanye West and Paul McCartney that will also appear on West's forthcoming album.
