After wrapping her gig opening shows for Rascal Flatts this summer, Kelsea Ballerini will embark on her first headlining tour. We're just not supposed to know that yet.
The country star was asked on AOL's Build about her travels with the Flatts, and she accidentally let it slip that after the trio's Rhythm and Roots trek ends in September, she'll go out on her own. "I'm going to try that out for the first time, later this year," she announced to a round of applause from the audience.
"Hehe. Totally wasn't suppose to say anything. Surprise. Details soon," she tweeted just after filming the show.
Ballerini made her debut as a TV hostess last night on ABC's Greatest Hits, sharing emcee duties with Arsenio Hall. The six-episode musical show pairs chart-topping singers from all genres — such as Bonnie Raitt with Andra Day, and the Backstreet Boys with Meghan Trainor — and divides their set-lists by decades.
