Nick Jonas stripped down Zara Larsson's bouncy pop hit "Lush Life" during an appearance on BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge. His upcoming album Last Year Was Complicated will be released on June 10th.
Transforming the bubbly song, Jonas sang in falsetto, with an acoustic guitar and drums for his take on the teenage Swedish star's international breakthrough song. Jonas also performed an acoustic version of his single "Close" in the Live Lounge as well.
Last Year Was Complicated is Jonas' third solo album of his career but second as an adult and post-Jonas Brothers. He released a Christian teen pop album titled Nicholas Jonas in 2005. His 2014 solo foray saw the teen pop star and former frontman of blues-rock side project Nick Jonas & the Administration moving towards R&B and light EDM, which he's continuing with songs like the tropical "Close," dance-y "Champagne Problems" and soulful "Chainsaw," all from his upcoming new album.
