Of the 80-plus artists performing at the electronic music fest, over 30 have been announced so far. In addition to the headliners, Electric Zoo announced the additions of Alan Walker, Aly & Fila, Audien, Claptone, Danny Tenaglia, Don Diablo, Drezo, Excision, Gaiser, Henrik Schwarz, Joyryde, Lost Kings, Markus Schulz, Martin Solveig and more.

DJ Snake will headline on Friday, September 1st; Above & Beyond will lead the slate on Saturday, September 2nd; deadmau5 and Eric Prydz will deliver back-to-back closing sets on Sunday, September 3rd.

Prior to the "6th Boro" edition, the festival will expand to South America for Electric Zoo: São Paulo on April 21st. Last year's Zoo, dubbed "Wild Island," featured headline slots from the Chainsmokers, Tiesto, Hardwell, Bassnectar, Porter Robinson and Steve Aoki.

Electric Zoo has encountered obstacles in the past: The 2014 event was cut short due to flash flooding, and the previous year's ended a day early after two fest attendees died from drug overdoses
