Wiz Khalifa Cited for Marijuana Possession in Nashville

Wiz Khalifa was cited for misdemeanor marijuana posession while in Nashville to headline Vanderbilt University’s Rites of Spring concert, reports The Tennessean.
Investigators were called to the Holiday Inn on West End Avenue after the front desk recieved a handful of complaints about marijuana coming from Khalifa’s room.
According to police, when they arrived at Khalifa’s room they saw him throw a marijuana blunt out the window as they walked in. Khalifa and the other man in the room, Lonnie Howard, denied they had any more marijuana when asked by police, but officers later found more on Howard.
The two admitted to having the marijuana and were given citations for misdemeanor possession. Khalifa and Howard must show up to the Davidson County courthouse by May 14th for booking.
In early March, Khalifa took part in Cypress Hill’s annual SmokeOut in San Bernardino, California, a yearly festival put on by the hip-hop group advocating marijuana rights.
