The Walk of Fame Selection Committee shared their full list of honorees on Thursday; an eclectic list broken down into music, TV, film, radio and live performance categories. The latter group also includes filmmaker Peter Jackson, funnyman Paul Rudd, Christoph Waltz, Daniel “Harry Potter” Radcliffe and Eugenio Derbez.
Joining Pharrell “Mr. Happy” Williams and Pitbull in the music category are producer Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwald (Pink, Ke$ha, Katy Perry), funk legends Kool & the Gang and producer-engineer Al Schmitt (Frank Sinatra, Jefferson Airplane, Neil Young).
The television group features producer James L. Brooks (The Simpsons), Seth MacFarlane (Family Guy), Jim Parsons (Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory), Amy Poehler (Parks and Recreation, formerly SNL), Sofia Vergara (Modern Family), Chris O’Donnell (NCIS: Los Angeles), Julianna Margulies (The Good Wife), Food Network chef Bobby Flay, producer-director Ken Ehrlich (the Grammy Awards) and talk-show host Kelly Ripa. (And let’s not forget everyone’s favorite animated pooch: Snoopy, from the Peanuts specials.)
The only honoree from the radio group is L.A. host Larry Elder, while three stars – to Kristin Chenoweth, Dick Gregory and Ennio Morricone – will be given out for live stage or theater performances. Posthumous stars will also go to Batman creator Bob Kane and screenwriter-novelist Raymond Chandler.
