Weekend Rock Question: What Is the Best Rod Stewart Song?

Cast your vote in our weekly poll

Rod Stewart in 1972. In honor of Stewart's upcoming album 'Another Country,' we're asking our readers to select his best songs.

Ian Dickson/Rex

Earlier this week, we posted an in-depth feature about Rod Stewart where he talked about his upcoming album Another Country, his ongoing Las Vegas residency, the Faces’ recent charity gig and his goal of cutting a reunion album with Jeff Beck. “Jeff, let’s give it one more try, me old mate,” he said. “Ronnie [Wood] will play bass!”

Now we have a question for you: What is your favorite Rod Stewart song? Feel free to vote for a huge hit like “Maggie May” and “Forever Young,” a fan favorite like “Gasoline Alley” and “Every Picture Tells a Story” or something more recent like “Please” and “Love Is.” To make this simple, we’re not going to count songs by the Faces, the Jeff Beck Group or any of his other bands. Stick with his solo catalog. Also, please only vote once and only for a single song.

You can vote here in the comments, on facebook.com/RollingStone or on Twitter using the hashtag #WeekendRock.
