It may have taken 22 years, but the Pixies are finally releasing new material. Sadly, Kim Deal quit the band early in the process, but she’s been replaced by former Muffs bassist Kim Shattuck and the band is on the road right now. They started with clubs in America before heading to Europe, and they should be back stateside sometime in 2014.

They only released four proper studio albums, but they have a ton of material when you include their debut mini-LP Come on Pilgrim, B-sides, cover tunes and the new tracks they’ve posted online in the past few weeks.
