When we asked our readers to pick for their favorite metal/hard rock albums of the 1970s, the votes come flooding in by the hundreds. The resulting list featured Van Halen, Aerosmith, Deep Purple, Kiss and even Montrose. Led Zeppelin scored the top two albums with Physical Graffiti and Led Zeppelin IV.
Now we have a logical follow-up question for you: What is your favorite metal record of the Eighties? We allowed hard rock and metal albums last time out, but the boundaries between the two genres were pretty clear by the Eighties, so this time please stick to metal only. Vote for whatever Eighties metal album you want, but please just vote once and only for a single album.
