Tove Lo danced solo in the spotlight with her band shrouded in the neon lights behind her. The singer writhed and body rolled to the dark electropop track that has her hoping to find a partner who will destroy her life and be “my true disaster.”
Lady Wood was released last October and was led by the Gone Girl-inspired single “Cool Girl.” To accompany the LP, she released the short film Fairy Dust which featured songs from the first half of the album. She plans to release a second short film, Fire Fade, with songs from the second half this year.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, she revealed that Lady Wood is the beginning of a double album that will be continued most likely this year. While she did not reveal the next album’s title, she did note that it would also be separated into two chapters like Lady Wood, with the chapters being titled “Light Beam” and “Pitch Black.”
