Watch Tove Lo’s Ominous ‘True Disaster’ Video
Tove Lo dances down a dark street in her new video for “True Disaster.” The clip originally appeared in her Fairy Dust short film, which accompanied her sophomore album Lady Wood.
The video open with Tove Lo emerging from a car that’s been doused with gasoline by a mysterious figure. They look each other in the eye as Lo walks away before she begins to frenetically dance through the darkened street. She sees the figure again, this time with the burning car in the background, and she runs away before realizing that she can’t evade the shadowy figure.
The Swedish “Habits” singer released Lady Wood in October. It’s the first part of a double album, with the LP exploring two chapters called “Fairy Dust” and “Fire Fade.” The as-yet-untitled follow-up will be released in 2017 and will feature the chapters “Light Beams” and “Pitch Black.” Lo will embark on a tour in support of the album in February 2017.
