Watch Tegan and Sara’s Introspective ‘That Girl’ Video

Black-and-white clip features behind-the-scenes footage from tour

For Tegan and Sara‘s new video for “That Girl” from Love You to Death, the twin sisters hit the road and give a behind-the-scenes look at their recent tour. The clip marks their 10th and final video from their eighth album.

Directed by Allister Ann, who also helmed their video for “Stop Desire,” the video features a series of split screens with black-and-white shots taken in various locations in Canada and the U.S. Tegan and Sara are seen backstage getting ready for their sets, taking selfies, doing interviews and also performing onstage. It also features the song’s introspective lyrics running underneath the footage. It was filmed during their 2016 tour.

“This year has been incredible. We have nothing but love and gratitude for our amazing fans,” the Quin sisters posted on their Facebook page along with the video. “Our time on the road this year reminded us again just how lucky we are to do what we do, and how proud we are of the community of fans that are drawn to what we create.”

Tegan and Sara recently launched the Tegan and Sara Foundation, which works to “fight for economic justice, health and representation for LGBTQ girls and women.”
