Halloween night marked the grand finale for Taylor Swift‘s often-star-studded North American leg of her 1989 Tour, and the singer had an October 31st surprise for fans at Tampa, Florida’s Raymond James Stadium as she was joined onstage by Idina Menzel to cover “Let It Go” from the 2013 film Frozen. In addition to Swift singing the Grammy- and Oscar-winning single, she also dressed up like the animated film’s Olaf the Snowman for the performance, with Menzel portraying the lead Queen Elsa.
“Frozen totally happened tonight. And 55,000 people sang ‘Let it Go’ so loudly, it nearly took my breath away. Good times,” Swift wrote on Instagram after the performance. Swift first hinted that a “Let It Go” sing-along was coming when she first rocked the Olaf costume to perform her “Style,” with Menzel joining her soon after to perform the Frozen track, the fifth-bestselling single of 2014.
After a week off, Swift’s 1989 World Tour will resume November 7th in Singapore before making its way to China and Australia.
