Watch Taylor Swift, Fallon Do the Robot, Sprinkler in ‘Jumbotron Dancing’ Bit

Taylor Swift and Jimmy Fallon have been late night BFFs ever since the host took over The Tonight Show, appearing in a number of sketches together (like Fallon’s ubiquitous “Ew!”). But as they proved in a goofy bit during Tuesday’s episode, their friendship also extends to an extracurricular activity: Jumbotron dancing at New York sporting events. 

“We used to go all out,” Swift says in the above clip. “We were famous Jumbotron dancers.” They then take a “nice, casual walk down memory lane” by looking at some of their favorite moments: doing the Robot to 2 Unlimited’s “Get Ready for This” at a Knicks game, performing the Sprinkler to Rednex’ “Cotton Eyed Joe” at a Brooklyn Nets game, doing karate to Pitbull’s “Fireball” at a New York Islanders game and unleashing the iconic Flashdance dance (complete with bucket of water) to Michael Sembello’s “Maniac” at a New York Rangers game.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Fallon interview without a celebrity game. So, in a nod to the singer and Karlie Kloss’ recent “best friends test” for Vogue, Swift and Fallon also squared off to see who could draw a better picture of the other – without looking at the paper – in 20 seconds. Swift scribbles Fallon with a giant toothy smile and no nose, surrounded by floating hearts, and Fallon’s crude Swift sketch looks like something from an abstract expressionist painting.

Last week, Swift shared her dark, sensual video for 1989 single “Style,” which finds the singer and an old flame haunted by memories of each other. The song is one of several on the album reportedly written about her ex-boyfriend Harry Styles of One Direction – joking about the track’s on-the-nose title, Swift told Rolling Stone, “We should have just called it ‘I’m Not Even Sorry’.”
