Solange Knowles gave a visually stunning performance of her A Seat at the Table tracks "Rise" and "Weary" during a performance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. Knowles recently received a Grammy nomination for her song "Cranes in the Sky," which is up for Best R&B Performance.
During the performance, Knowles and her band wore all red to match the backdrop of the stage, which was also red with a giant circle that framed like a halo around the singer. Knowles and her two backup singers were connected by the fabric of their jumpsuits, which draped between them and flowed softly during the minimalist dance movements.
A Seat at the Table is Knowles' first full-length album in eight years. The LP follows her 2012 EP True, which saw her transition from psychedelic-soul to indie-rock-infused R&B. The album features contributions from Lil Wayne, The-Dream, Kelly Rowland, Q-Tip, BJ the Chicago Kid and André 3000.
