Watch Seal Fight Off Wolves in Exclusive ‘Popstar’ Clip
One of the highlights from the Lonely Island‘s latest Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping trailer comes when an elaborate wedding proposal – with the mood set by a pack of howling wolves, “Kiss From a Rose” singer Seal and paparazzi – is interrupted after the wolves break free. In this exclusive, extended clip of that scene, Andy Samberg’s bad boy pop star Conner4Real proposes to his girlfriend Ashley Wednesday before the carnage begins.
“Please freaking say yes girl!” Seal sings after Conner pops the question. Unfortunately, just as Wednesday is about to say “I do,” the animals get loose and start attacking everyone in sight, including Seal. “Don’t worry, I’ve been in this situation before,” Seal says after fighting off one beast. “How do you think I got these scars?” The singer is then suddenly jumped and mauled in front of Conner and his bride-to-be.
The scene also stars Imogen Poots as Conner4Real’s girlfriend, Tim Meadows as Conner’s manager and Paul Scheer as the wolf handler.
Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping arrives in theaters June 3rd.
