Watch Peter Bjorn and John Play Human Dominos in New Video
Peter Bjorn and John play a game of human dominos in the video for the appropriately titled “Dominos,” off the indie rock trio’s new LP Breakin’ Point.
Filmed in the band’s native Stockholm, the Henry Moore Selder-directed video opens by following the trail of human dominos in reverse: The dozens of people knocked down by the chain reaction are seen being slowly propping back up, with one (a dummy, hopefully) flying upwards several stories back onto a building’s balcony.
Midway through the video, which premiered on Mashable, the backward footage ceases at the cash register of a convenience store and the execution of the actual human dominos stunt is seen. All this is intercut with Peter Bjorn and John performing the track on a subway platform.
The trio released their Breakin’ Point in June. For the first time, the group sought outside production help from a team of all-star producers that includes Greg Kurstin, Patrick Berger, Emile Haynie and Paul Epworth, who produced “Dominos.”
