Watch Panic! at the Sisqo’s Energetic ‘Thong Song’ on ‘Kimmel’
Jimmy Kimmel relaunched his Live “Mashup Mondays” series by bringing together Panic! at the Disco and Sisqo to form “Panic! at the Sisqo.” The rock band joined the R&B singer for a playful version of the latter’s 1999 hit “Thong Song.”
Panic! at the Disco initially took the stage without Sisqo, as singer Brendon Urie channeled the original singer’s lower register. Sisqo joined during the chorus as Urie continued to handle the verses.
The “Mashup Mondays” series began last February with acts like “Wee-Z Top” (Weezer and ZZ Top), “Morris Day and the Haim” (Morris Day and the Time with Haim) and “Aloe Blaccstreet” (Aloe Blacc and Blackstreet). The most recent incarnation of the musical series included “Color Me Bradd” (Brad Paisley and Color Me Badd), “Joss Stone Temple Pilots” (Joss Stone and Stone Temple Pilots), “Jewel & the Gang” (Jewel and Kool & the Gang) and “Fall Out Boyz II Men” (Fall Out Boy and Boz II Men).
